The online classroom portion of Silver Senior Consulting’s North Carolina Administrator-in-Training program combines updated regulatory education, practical leadership development, and supervised preceptorship assignments. Participants study resident care and rights, LHPS oversight, medication management, staffing and competency, infection control, emergency preparedness, business operations, activities, food and nutrition services, documentation, and survey readiness. Facility-based assignments require learners to apply the material, document findings, recommend corrections, and obtain preceptor verification. The self-paced classroom remains available for 365 days and supports completion of the broader state AIT process.
