Activity Director: 75-Hour Self-Paced Course

Enrollment is open. This individual self-study course develops practical activity-director skills through 16 modules covering resident choice, meaningful activities, planning, adaptation, documentation and program evaluation. Beginners are welcome; previous Activity Director training is not required. The one-time price is $150, with 120 days of access. The course is designed for approximately 75 active hours including teaching, videos or written alternatives, independent case assignments, quizzes, reflections and the final capstone. Actual learner time varies; 75 hours is a design target, not a measured average or guaranteed duration. Complete the assignments independently using supplied cases or clearly labeled fictional scenarios. Facility access, employment, resident participation, supervisor approval and a mentor are not required. Do not upload real resident or workplace private information. The first lesson explains how to begin, create your assignment PDF, write a reflection and submit your work. Contact dustin@silversc.com if you need an accessible participation format. Complete the modules in order, submit the required independent practical evidence and actual-time logs, meet the quiz requirements and submit the capstone portfolio. Dustin Perkins reviews the capstone and completion evidence, requests revisions when needed and authorizes certificate release manually.
